The School Newsletter I Would Like to Read

I’ve been in the elementary school trenches for a decade and counting.  Out of those ten years, eight have been spent on some kind of Parent Teacher board and three of those years I was the idiot conned into writing the school newsletter. Here, my friends, is a copy of a school newsletter  I would really like to read. It’s 3 pages of elementary school updates, the P.T.A. President’s Letter and, of course, more fundraising opportunities for parents. I’ve used my old newsletter template to create this edition of Snarky Goes To School. Click here to read.

Awesome! However, unlike most school newsletters, you consistently used correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.

OK, folks, how’s this? Instead of a Girls’ Night Out, we have a Girls’ WEEK Out, of all Snarky fans, in Vegas? Snarky can be our guest speaker, cause God knows she needs a vacation. We’re just going to need to do a few small fundraisers…

I just sent this link to our incoming HSA president. Thought she might like some ideas for next year.

I WISH our newsletters were this entertaining. I’d actually read them. There are a few moms I’d like to send this to. You should see some of the (lack of) outfits choices. No dads volunteer in my hood. . And IF, a big IF, they do, they are there on their phones standing around. Thanks for the laugh!

Oh please tell me you live in Washington State! We want to take you out to lunch and just listen to your wisdom. The Hummer and the BMW drivers at our school need you to set them straight.

No PTA Lady, I do not live in your beautiful state but I am convinced we are all living the same lives. That said, if I am ever in your state I will hit you up for a lunch invite.
